SEASONAL EXPERIENCES AROUND LAKE STARNBERG

Munich Christmas Market at Marienplatz
Every year, the oldest and probably best-known Christmas market in the city takes place here. Germany’s largest nativity scene market, numerous stalls with handicrafts, gingerbread and mulled wine, and a large Christmas tree await visitors. From November 27 to December 24, visitors can get into the Christmas spirit here.

Oktoberfest
The most famous folk festival attracts several million people to Munich every year. Dirndl and leather pants simply belong to it. From September 16 to October 03, 2023, it’s that time again.

Tollwood Munich
Twice a year the Toolwood takes place. A special festival with several events with mostly free admission.

Five Lakes Film Festival
At the end of July, the annual Five Lakes Film Festival takes place in the wide-screen cinemas in Starnberg, Herrsching and Seefeld: More than 80 films will be shown in over 150 screenings.
